ComboFix

ComboFix is a free and extremely efficient tool creating for detailed system logs and removing all sorts of malware from the computer.

The program does not require installation, operating takes place via text interface. After launching, ComboFix creates a backup copy of data to be restored in case of failure. When running, it scans the system thoroughly, removing encountered malware automatically. This process may take different amounts of time, depending on the degree of computer infection and, while running, various strange behavior may be notices (e.g. icons disappearing from the desktop, taskbar clock configuration alteration etc.), one should not worry about it, though ? everything should be back to normal after completion.

The results of the program?s work are to be found in a generated log in the form of a text file.
