BitTorrent

The official compilation of the BirTorrent program meant for the increasingly popular direct file exchange network (p2p) bearing the same name.

The program is designed to download various types of data (music, movies, software and the like) shared by users around the world, spread in the form of .torrent extension files. It includes a whole range of interesting functions which do not overload the system and commit to the convenience of downloading particularly large amounts of data, e.g. downloading numerous files simultaneously, tasks queuing, task priority assignment and choice of transfer limits and cataloging of downloaded data.

In addition, BitTorrent shares plenty of detailed information about the downloaded file and generates transfer statistics. Thus, we may see the so-called seeds and peers, the trackers list and clients and a graph illustrating the transfer of files to/from our computer. It also possesses a built-in RSS reader and the possibility to shut down, reset or hibernate the computer after the completion of downloading or performing all tasks.
