Winamp

Winamp 5.6 is the latest edition of an audio and video player, very popular among users worldwide.

The application includes a range of useful functions, such as the possibility to rip Audio CDs into many formats (aacPlus, AAC, WMA, MP3), CD recording (maximum speed in the freeware version is 2x), Internet radio and TV stations playing and, recently, the Flash format too.

In addition, Winamp offers the option of browsing song lyrics, artist information, buying tickets to concerts, downloading music, importing iTunes library, add-ons management, remote music and video playback, creating dynamically generated playlists based on music preferences, sharing music and much more.

Since version 5.5 the creators rebuilt the interface completely, added Flash format support, the ability to synchronize with many appliances, including the iPod, implemented the Winamp Toolbar tool to control the player from the Internet browser and added Windows 7 support.
