CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) is a freeware application meant for optimization and removal of unnecessary files left by various applications from everyday computer work from the system. Thanks to these functions the program is considered to be one of the best privacy protection tools.

The application makes it possible, through one click, to clean the remains of internet surfing, including the list of visited websites and downloaded files, cookies and temporary Internet files. Moreover, the Ccleaner empties the Recycle Bin contents, the system locker, the list of recently opened documents (also in particular applications) and many more?

Ccleaner also provides a few other useful functions. One of these is the possibility to manage startup programs and optimizing the system operation by removal of temporary files and searching for potential problems in the registry.
