The latest version of the Microsoft communicator, a direct successor of the MSN Messenger, the first of the Windows Live product family. Aside from Internet chatting with emoticons, it also provides sending handwritten messages, sending files, voice calls (also via short audio clips) and video transmission, sending pager and cellphone messages, blocking unwanted contacts. The Live version introduced a variety of improvements for audio-video conference calls and sending offline messages, among other.
