Internet Download Manager (IDM) is a fairly popular program meant for Internet file downloading.

An essential feature is the ability to integrate with most of the top Internet browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, Safari, Netscape etc. Internet Download Manager offers resuming of the data downloading process, a dynamic file segmentation technology, ongoing during a download (for acceleration purposes), it also allows previewing of zip archives as well as task scheduling and downloading data from YouTube, MySpaceTV, Google Video and the like. IDM also supports FTP, HTTP and HTTPS protocols in addition to proxy servers.

This software is available in English and provides an easy and user-friendly interface.
